What dance do you teach?

We offer progressive training in Classical Vaganova Ballet and Pointe. We also offer Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. For the little ones we follow the Leap n’ Learn curriculum.

How old does my child have to be to begin classes?

General age range is 3 – 18. We also have adult ballet classes!

How do I know what classes to take?

Depending on your interests the Director will help decide which class(es) may benefit your dancer most according to skill level and experience and not necessarily based on age.

Unsure about our studio? Unsure about dance in general?

Your dancers can take a trial class under no obligation. No need to enroll or fill out any paperwork. Just come to a class and try it!

When is the dance season?

The dance seasons are the Fall and Spring. We follow the Clark County School calendar so that our classes coincide with each semester. We also recognize Spring and Summer breaks, and holidays.

What days and time of day do classes take place?

We operate weekdays beginning after school and extending through the evenings. Weekend rehearsals may be called for during the productions.

Am I allowed to watch my dancer in class?

All classes are closed for viewing so that teachers and students can retain their focus without distraction. We find this to be the most beneficial for your student and the class.

Are there any performances or recitals?

YES! We perform The Nutcracker! This full length classical production is on stage in front of nearly 2,000 school kids from surrounding counties, plus we have two evening performances. No other studio around does this! Also a big recital will conclude the Spring semester giving the dancers a chance to showcase what they have learned all year long. Plus, you can join the Winchester Dance Ensemble!

What if dance may not be the right fit for my child at this time?

If you have never take dance and are a little apprehensive it is ok! We understand. You can take a trial class free of charge in order to make a better decision, have time in the waiting room to talk with other parents, ask us more questions, and prepare to come back next week to officially get enrolled.
